Broccolo Has Great Houseplants!

Going to a party or visiting a friend? Stop by and “grab and go” with an easy, virtually care-free plant as a gift for your friend.

Succulents and mini cactus for under $5. Flowering Kalanchoe under $10.

We offer a variety of Air Plants. What can be easier to care for? Once in a while give it a mist, otherwise they prefer to be neglected. Pick up a couple and put them anywhere or grab a cute container. Another great gift idea under $10.

While you’re here, check out our carnivorous plants, too! The Pitcher Plant and Venus Fly Trap attracts insects which get stuck inside where they are slowly digested. They
need humidity to keep healthy and come with a kit to water from the bottom. No bugs in your house? You can feed them occasional mealworms. Fun gift for under $15.

We have an amazing selection of tropicals and houseplants available as well…basically, we’ve got your houseplant needs covered.

Great Change for the Finger Lakes Museum

The Finger Lakes Museum is now officially the
    Saunders Finger Lakes Museum!

Wow! As a trustee, I (Laurie Broccolo) am so thankful for this gift from the Saunders family to take the Finger Lakes Legacy to the next level. Broccolo has been involved and invested in creating rain gardens, permeable parking, meadow wildflowers, trails, and the nature playground. There is plenty of outdoor activity and now the next phase of building is a dream come true. Thanks to the Saunders family.

Check Out Some of Jen’s Projects

This is a wildflower garden that has numerous dragonfly, hummingbird, and other friends come to visit.

Wine Cap mushrooms installed by Broccolo this Spring.
The client got to harvest and eat a bunch of the mushrooms, and their trilliums and other woodland plants are thriving with the mycelium rich soil!

Here is an edible shade garden with Blueberry, edible Kousa Dogwood, and Bearberry.

Check out this backyard lawn slowly transforming into a meadow for pollinators.

    Rain Garden & Drainage

Our team recently completed a beautiful Rain Garden complete with a built-in watering system from the house’s gutter. This makes for less watering time in the garden, and more water conservation….a win-win!

The installation of the drainage system for watering the garden.

Strategically placing the plants around the drainage system so they will all receive plenty of water.

The final product created a planet-friendly, low-maintenance, beautiful landscape feature for our client’s backyard.
