Support the Pollinators

June is pollinator month!

This month encourages the planting of pollinator gardens of native, non-invasive pollen and nectar-producing plants. When these gardens bloom, they attract bees, birds, bats, and other natural pollinators.

Pollinator Plant of the Week

This under-used native Portenathus (Gillenia) trifoliata is a Broccolo favorite for dry shade gardens. The dainty star-like flowers attract bees and butterflies and it is deer resistant.

Come visit us here at Broccolo Garden Center and get your own plants to help build natural habitats that provide food for our pollinator friends!

Broccolo Hardscapes

This project was designed and built by Broccolo 15 years ago. The client invited us to take these recent photos to see that it was still a gorgeous, functioning, outdoor extension of their Brighton home.
